Batik Butterfly Dress - short sleeve midi dress, size 2X

This batik dress was hand painted and hand dyed in 3 synchronized layers to create this beautiful abstract butterfly design.  Although this one is sold out, other beautiful batik dresses in this collection can be found here:

100% cotton knit, the sizing will not shrink.  The model is wearing a size Small for reference.  The actual dress for this listing is shown in the first 3 pictures.  

This style of dress was sewn by Dharma Trading Co before I applied the batik process.  There are plenty of unique variations between each dress, but the basic design and color is consistent with the model's photos.  The last two photos show all the dresses made together in this batik batch, starting from left to right: Small to 3X.  

Laying flat and not stretched, the measurements for this dress are approximate:

2X:

• Bust: 23" across
• Top of shoulder to the bottom hem: 46"
• Width at the center of the waist: 22.5"
• Total width of bottom hem: 40"

 The sun was setting as I took the photographs, so there may be some sun rays showing up on the dress.  The dress is a very rich navy blue with purple and turquoise batik details.
